Refunds/transfer Policy
  • Cancellation of any Baz Bus ticket will result in a 15% fee if made within 24 hours of purchase. Baz Bus must be notified in writing within the 24 hours to qualify for the cancellation.This must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. A Baz Bus ticket may only be considered cancelled once you have received a wriiten confirmation from the Baz Bus office.
  • No refund will be given for a cancellation made after 24 hours of purchase
  • There are no refunds for unused sections.
  • Hop-on Hop-off tickets are transferable (except for return tickets).
  • Travel passes and Wildlife Safari & Adventure Packages are not transferable.
Booking conditions
  • All seats should be booked at least 72 hours in advance to avoid disappointment. Baz Bus will not be liable should there be no seat available.
  • The 4 day Kruger National Park Wildlife Safari tour and the 7 day Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls tour and the 11 day Kruger & Chobe & Victoria Falls tour included in the Wildlife Safari & Adventure packages should be booked at least 1 month in advance to avoid disappointment.
  • Please ensure that you are given a seat confirmation number for each section of your trip as proof of booking. Baz Bus will not be held responsible for passengers left behind as a result of unconfirmed bookings.
  • Baz Bus and its staff are not responsible for booking or reserving accommodation and activities for its passengers along the Baz Bus route. (Excluding a Wildlife Safari & Adventure Package whereby only the tours included in the package will be booked by us)
  • Baz Bus tickets do not include meals and accommodation. (Excluding Wildlife Safari & Adventure Packages, where meals and accommodation are included as specified in the detailed itineraries of the packages)
  • It is your responsibility to have a valid passport and all visas, permits, vaccinations and certificates required for your selected travel route.
  • The Timetable and Arrival & Departure list are subject to change without prior notification and must be confirmed at the time of making the booking.
  • Drivers cannot take bookings or recommend hostels. If a driver influences you in any way, please report this to the Baz Bus Head Office.
  • A 'NO SHOW' for any booked section of the journey without prior cancellation will result in the loss of that section of the journey and a new ticket will need to be purchased for that section.
  • Please refer to the Baz Bus timetable for days of departure and scheduled departure times. Buses will not wait for passengers who are not ready to depart at the scheduled times.
  • Please refer to the Baz Bus timetable for important notes on various stops along our route. Some areas are only accessible through shuttle services with links to our route. All shuttle links must be pre-arranged by the passenger and confirmed with the backpacker hostel. A shuttle fee may be applicable.
  • Passengers are picked up and dropped off at the venues specified on the Arrival and Departure List and must be ready to leave from these departure points at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure times. Baz Bus will not collect you from a hostel or Baz Bus collection point, if you have not booked in advance to be collected from there.
  • In the event of a bus running behind schedule due to traffic, technical problems or road works, every attempt will be made to keep passengers informed but we accept no liability for any inconvenience in this regard.
  • No animals are allowed on the bus
  • Baz Bus, its servants and its agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his or her luggage or other personal property, whenever the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of the Baz Bus, it's servants or agents or other person directly or indirectly in the employment or service of the Baz Bus or under any circumstances whatsoever.
Booking Changes
You can make changes to your section bookings free of charge. This includes a change to your pick up point or day of departure. Please notify us telephonically or via email. Please make sure you are given a new Confirmation number as proof of the booking change. Note:
  • Changes to your hop-on hop-off or travel pass ticket are only permitted if made more than 3 days prior to departure.
  • Changes to your 1 day Cape Peninsula tour are only permitted if made more than 3 days prior to departure.
  • Changes to your 4 day Kruger National Park Wildlife Safari Tour are only permitted if made more than 1 month prior to departure.
  • Changes to your 7 day Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls tour are only permitted if made more than 1 month prior to departure.
  • Changes to your 11 day Kruger & Chobe & Victoria Falls tour are only permitted if made more than 1 month prior to departure.

These conditions apply irrespective of whether your tour was purchased on its own or as part of a Wildlife Safari & Adventure package.

Payment Options
  • All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). We accept credit card payments via the website and on request will supply our banking details should you wish to make payment via EFT or Direct Deposit.
